High Point — Gary Simon, owner of Simon Jewelers, is delighted to host the first Alexis Bittar Trunk Show in the Triad. The two day show will be held at Simon Jewelers in High Point located at 1345 N. Main Street on April 12 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, April 13 from 10:00 AM to 5:00PM.
Alexis Bittar is the eponymous name of the jewelry brand founded by 2010 Council of Fashion Designers of America Accessory Designer of the Year, Alexis Bittar. In 1990, he developed his technique of hand carving Lucite, and created jewelry with the luminosity of Lalique crystal. That original vision of hand crafted jewelry is core to the design details of the line that is still handmade in Brooklyn, NY.
Sculptural metal with a sense of fluidity and movement is also a staple of Alexis Bittar. Clean, liquid, molten and organic describe the inspiration behind these designs.
The care that goes into every piece of Alexis Bittar jewelry reflects the belief that these are collectable, modern heirlooms. Luxury is in the design details, the quality of the materials, and the craftsmanship. It can take up to a week and 20 different artisans to create a single piece. Yet Alexis Bittar is accessible, attainable, and collectable.
Gary says that Alexis Bittar is: UNIQUE – COLORFUL – HAND CARVED – SCULPTURAL – INNOVATIVE – ARTISTIC – WEARABLE – EXCITING
He is enthusiastic about the jewelry and the event and says, “It is very exciting to bring Alexis Bittar to the Triad. Join us for this exclusive event and experience the art of Alexis Bittar.”
